Forever- Drake

this song is pretty ill. drake kills it, then yeezy, and of course weezy, and then eminem comes along and blows them ALL out of the water. the video isnt ground breaking or anything but it does its job. i also like how lebron is in the whole entire thing haha. eminem needs to get back to killing tracks like this though. they should have given him 2 verses on this one

ya boy blogging from his iPhone!!!

I'm finally blogging from my phone!!! expect a lot more posts!!! haha enjoy the view from my bed

"The End Of Day" is just the beginning

So i went and bought that new cudi yesterday (the deluxe edition) and im not sure if i could like this album anymore than i do. Every single track is worth a listen and is GOOD. I guess in a sense my opinion is bias because I like everything cudi has ever put out, but i LOVE this. One of my favorite things about kid cudi is he only does kid cudi. you won't hear him sounding like, or see him acting like anyone but himself which makes his lyrics very personal. Also, the beats on this album are bananas. They actually feel like you are floating through space and decided to take a stop to visit the man on the moon. There is a song for everyone on this album (if you don't love them all like me) because cudi feels so real. One thing i miss about some rappers (like kanye) is the feeling like you understand them, or that you can actually relate to them. This isn't a kid cudi album here, people, this is a Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi album. If you haven't already i strongly suggest that you go buy the album (and preferably the deluxe version! support these artists, people!) and listen to it from start to finish without stopping. A 58 minute story will unfold that i am sure you will enjoy. Cudi is Up Up & Away with this one y'all

What We Talkin About?

So, i got the Blueprint 3 this week (along with the new kid cudi but that is DEFINITELY going to get it's own post) and i hate to say it but i am a little disappointed in it. I think since it had the word "Blueprint" in it i was was expecting something that was going to blow my mind, but BP3 just didn't do that for me. It's not that it's bad, its that it isn't great. It's pretty good, but that isn't enough for me when it comes to Jay-Z. Also, for the first time Jay-Z is on a song (On to the Next One) that I am literally yet to listen to all the way through because the beat is absolutely unbearable. Jay is always creative with his flows but he seems to be getting too comfortable and they're are a little lazy at this point. For example, on "Run This Town" Kanye blows him out of the water, and on "Hate" Kanye very clearly keeps up with (if not surpasses) Jay. No diss to Kanye, but he shouldn't be able to keep up with Jay-Z. I hate to say it but I almost feel like Jay has become more of an image at this point, and less of a rapper. He commands respect because of what he has done, and demands attention when he raps, but I think sometimes gets away with lack luster lyrics cause he is Jay-Z. There are some killer tracks on BP3 which i expected, but, unlike his other recent albums (American Gangster, The Black Album, and even Kingdom Come) it doesn't feel like an album. There's no feel to this album, no clear sound to it, which is something Jay usually does a great job with. All in all I think if you like Jay-Z, then buy this album, but just know that it's no Blueprint.

about a month since my last post and im now in chi-city, and i love college. im enjoying myself so far and im looking forward to the rest of the year. one thing i didn't enjoy was Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs. im not going to talk on this too much but, Kanye, you sir need to calm down.

on a lighter note, as i said before, i love college. listen to this song at all your parties and such
