so, by now im sure most people have heard we are the world 2010, which is only a sad shell of once was the original we are the world. i think it was very poorly put together and all around just wasnt what it should have been. recently though, k'naan remade his song "wavin flag" with a group of artists that have considerably less star power than the "we are the world group" did, but made a song that is exponentially better. although they were both made in good spirits in hopes to raise money for haiti, wavin flag did it out it should sound in 2010, and we are the world did it the way an amateur remix artist who OD'd on autotune would have. both are posted below.

The Sea

i am loving this album right now and i think everyone should go pick it up. after her husband's passing im not quite sure how she put such a great album together, but, i'm guessing it's because she took those feelings and poured them into each and every song. although some of the songs do have somber tone they always come back around to the hope for and belief in love. this entire album is definitely going to be in heavy rotation in my itunes for a while, just like all her other music. below is an acoustic version of one of my favorite songs on the album "I'd Do It All Again". enjoy.

so, i am currently in my dorm room listening to music and what not, and turned on so far gone. as i was going through the mixtape "best i ever had came on". needless to say this song has gotten more than enough play on the radio, but, the line "sweatpants, hair tied, chillin with no make-up on. that's when youre the prettiest, i hope that you don't take it wrong" is not to be slept on. haha i know im kinda late for valentine's day, but i'd just like to let all the ladies out there who may happen to come across this blog that you are beautiful without all that extra make-up, and don't forget it
