Soulja Boy is "Delirious"

so i don't really post on this blog much, and i hope to change that soon, but i felt like i had to bring something to everyones' attention. today i was sitting in my house on my laptop and watching mtv like many other saturdays, and a new song featuring Soulja Boy came on. As a matter of fact, it might not even be new, but i have just never heard the song before. but anyway, soulja boy starts off the song with an 8 bar verse, and since it's Soulja Boy, i decide to listen so i can have a little laugh before i got out and about for the day. so, Soulja Boy starts to spit, "man, this ridiculous/ i got you so delirious/ kiss me through the phone while i lick you just like licorice/ im hov back in 96-" STOP. STOP RIGHT THERE. that's where everything took a turn for the worst. i had to rewind that at least 10 times on my dvr just to see if my ears were decieving me, but they weren't...Soulja Boy ACTUALLY claimed to be like Jay-Z in 96. Now, let me remind you he not only compared himself to Jay-Z be he compaired himself to REASONABLE DOUBT Jay-Z. Soulja Boy, you're hardly Bow Wow in 96, and that's BEFORE he met Jermaine Dupri. If Soulja Boy is like Hov in 96, then im like Nas in 94, Kanye in 04, 05, and 07, Lupe in 06 and 07, Common in 05, Tupac in 96, and Biggie in 94 AND 97. it's official, rappers are going crazy. somebody needs to "tell 'em" he's no hov.
